2023 NBA Draft is most-watched on any network
The San Antonio Spurs are the victors of the Victor Wembanyama sweepstakes after a 14% chance at the No. 1 pick on Tuesday night.
The 7-foot-3 French phenom is considered to be the best prospect since LeBron James and is expected to be a generational talent in the NBA.
The Spurs have been rebuilding for several years now and have a young core led by Dejounte Murray and Keldon Johnson. Adding Wembanyama to the mix would give them a franchise-changing player and would make them a contender in the Western Conference.
The Hornets also had a good night, landing Brandon Miller, a 6-foot-9 forward from Alabama, with the No. 4 pick.
Miller is a versatile player who can score, rebound and defend. He averaged 19.3 points and 8.0 rebounds per game for the Crimson Tide last season.
The 2023 NBA Draft will be held on June 22nd in New York City.
